A strategic leader with over 15 years of diverse administrative and operational experience, Joshua Krohn serves as the Chief of Staff for Good News Realty Group. Though not a licensed agent, he is the operational backbone of the team, dedicated to supporting our agents and ensuring an excellent client experience throughout the Treasure Valley.

As Chief of Staff, I connect leadership with agents, marketing with operations, and our company’s vision with its day-to-day execution. Whether I’m coordinating marketing initiatives, managing events, or streamlining internal workflows, I am driven by a deep desire to ensure every person on our team and in our community feels seen, heard, and valued. My philosophy is simple: if people walk away feeling their experience was excellent, that’s a win.

Professional Background

 

My journey to real estate has been defined by one common thread: a passion for serving people. I have held leadership and support roles across several industries—including ministry, hospitality, and customer service—that have sharpened my ability to lead with integrity and solve problems with calm confidence.

Before joining Good News Realty Group, I served as Operations Manager for a local Treasure Valley Pool & Spa company and as the Executive Administrator for a large church in Boise, supporting a 2,000-member congregation and its pastoral team. These experiences taught me how to bring structure to complex environments and navigate high-stakes decisions, skills that are vital in managing the many moving parts of a real estate business.

My diverse background in corporate, nonprofit, and service-based businesses gives me a uniquely broad and adaptable perspective. I thrive in environments where I can bring clarity to complexity and structure to vision. I am a strong communicator and a steady presence in high-pressure moments, ensuring our team has the seamless, behind-the-scenes support they need to focus on what they do best: helping people buy and sell homes with confidence and care.

On a Personal Note

 

While I was born in Southern California, Idaho has been my home since my family relocated to the Treasure Valley in 2003. Today, I live in Boise with my wonderful wife, Kim, and our four incredible sons.

One of my lifelong passions is music. I have played the drums since I was two years old and began performing professionally at the age of twelve. Music has taught me discipline, creativity, and the importance of keeping things moving in sync—a lesson I apply to my work and family life every day.

I love the Treasure Valley for its tight-knit community and beautiful natural surroundings. It’s a place where people genuinely care for each other, and that value is reflected in the way we do business at Good News Realty Group. Everything I do behind the scenes is rooted in a commitment to serve our clients and our team with excellence, consistency, and heart.
